2009 Melbourne International Film Festival

Once again Melbourne played host to some local, national and international recognised actors and celebrities for the 2009 Melbourne International Film Festival.

The main film focus on the opening night was “Balibo” with the actual family that the story was based on were  in attendence.  Along side this were the casts from “Blessed”, “Bran Nue Day”, “The Loved Ones” and “$9.99”

Some highly recognisable faces included that of: Ernie Dingo, Gyton Grantley, Anthony La Paglia, Frances O’Conner, Miranda Otto, Deborra-lee Furness, Victoria Haralabidou,  Geoffrey Rush, Paris Wells and Jose Ramos-Horta (East Timor President) and many more.
