Pancake Parlour reaches new heights for Shrove Tuesday

The Pancake Parlour in Melbourne decided to raise the bar as part of Shrove Tuesday celebrations with an attempt by Andy Wrobel to beat the world record for the tallest stack of pancakes.

Andy set a record in 2012 with a height of 76cm (2.49ft) using a total of 60 buckwheat pancakes. Today’s effort which is now to be made official for a Guinness World Record with a height of 77cm (2.5ft) which has now broken a previous record set in 2008 of 76cm (2.42ft) which was attempted in Croatia.
